Grow Your Own Illinois is charged with disseminating up-to-date information on the Illinois Grow Your Own Teachers initiative and with providing help to anyone who seeks to develop or participate in such a program. The menu items to the left include the official state documents on this program as well as answers to key questions and some bibliographic pointers.
GYO Illinois has prepared a brief handbook to help Grow Your Own projects develop fundraising strategies for the additional costs of their programs. The guide includes strategies for organizing the effort, a survey of the major types of funders, suggestions for specific requests that could be fundable, and various technical resources.
