In May 2008, the State Board of Education passed a series of changes to the Grow Your Own program rules originally approved in 2005 and amended in 2007. These changes reflect the amendments that had been passed by the Legislature up to that time, and and some significant adjustments to the section on the Forgivable Loan component. As noted in the summary of the law in this section of the website, an additional set of mostly minor amendments was passed by the Legislature and signed by the Governor in 2009. Rules that would implement these changes are currently under development and will be published here as soon as they are available for public comment.
